Dine Local provides an add-on option to provide a full service website for your restaurant or brand (multi-location restaurants). If you're interested in publishing a fully managed website that is SEO and AI optimized and fully integrated to your Dine Local menu and restaurant presence, please contact us.

Website Feature Details

Your Dine Local Website includes a number of standard features which can be configured for you. Content is fully managed by the Dine Local team to make things easy for you. Any changes can be submitted to our [email protected] email team and we will have them updated in 24-48 hours.

Websites can include several key standard features:

  • Home page with about us, restaurant information, integration to Instagram feed, coming events, and location details.
  • Restaurant hours fully integrated with your Dine Local schedule including special hours for holidays (which can also be automatically synced to your Google Business Profile)
  • Standard menu page powered by your Dine Local menu
  • Events page to publish upcoming special events (bands, recurring dine-in food specials, etc) - events can be one time, recurring weekly, or monthly recurring (on the nth Wednesday of every month)
  • Contact Page with integrated email web form to simplify contact and protect your email address from spam
  • Locations page for multi-location brands including location details and order/contact links for each individual location
  • Order Online integration directly to your Dine Local ordering page to simplify your customer's experience

While all standard content and design is managed for you by the Dine Local team in your monthly subscription, you do have the ability to manage upcoming events directly from your restaurant admin panel using your manager login.

Managing Events for your Website

While events can also be managed by the Dine Local team by submitting changes to the [email protected] address, you have full access to create and manage events on your own website from the admin panel.

For each event you will add or manage the content of:

  • Location: You must select the correct location from the dropdown for the event. For restaurants with only one location, there will only be one option in this field.
  • Event Title: Create a catchy title for your event
  • Ticket URL: If you are selling tickets for this event, for example with EventBrite or a similar platform, you can include the ticket link here and we will automatically create a Buy Tickets button on the event for your customers.
  • Featured Event: If you have a lot of events coming up, you may want to feature something that is happening further in the future. Events that are flagged as "feature" will be listed twice on your Events page, once at the top in the "Featured Events" section, and sorted in the chronological order with all other events below that. If you don't have many events, this duplication can look funny on your page, so be careful how you use the "featured" flag.
  • Event Type: You can choose an event that happens Once, Recurring Weekly, or Recurring Monthly. If you select one of the recurring options, you'll also need to fill in details in the Recurrence tab (at the top of the window) before publishing.
  • Start Date / End Date: For events that happen once, you'll set the start and end date and time for the event using these blocks. For recurring events, the Start Date is only used to determine when to start showing the event (for example, if your recurring event will start next Wednesday, you can choose a start date any time before the event but after the current Wednesday for the recurrence to be current as of next week).
  • Description: Provide a description for the event and what's happening. This doesn't have to be super long, but it's good to add some details to the event so people know what to expect (for example is it a costume party, should they bring anything, will strobe lighting be used, etc)
  • Event Image: Upload a 1080x1080 (square) image which will be used for the event poster. Note the system will not restrict you to a square 1080x1080 image, but it is designed to show this size best so we highly recommend resizing any event posters to fit a square size so that parts of your poster are not cut off in the display.

Recurrence Tab

When setting a recurring event, you will need to fill in the details on the Recurrence Tab as well:

Weekly Recurring Events

  • Repeat On: Select the day(s) that the event will recur weekly.
  • Daily Start Time / End Time: Mark the start and end times for the event each day that it happens (for example an event that happens Wednesdays from 6-8pm you would select 18:00 for the start time and 20:00 for the end time in our standard 24-hour time format).
  • Recurrence End Date: Mark the last date that this event is set to recur. While this is required to prevent the system from having infinite events, you can always set this to a date well into the future or update it later with a later date if you need to extend it. The system will automatically default to only showing the next 8 events on your website automatically (which can be adjusted if you'd like us to).
Monthly Recurring Events

  • Week of Month / Weekday: Choose which week of the month and day the event recurs (ie. the second Tuesday of every month)
  • Daily Start Time / End Time: Mark the start and end times for the event each day that it happens (for example an event that happens on a Wednesday from 6-8pm you would select 18:00 for the start time and 20:00 for the end time in our standard 24-hour time format).
