Scheduling Menu Price Changes

You can schedule updates to your menu pricing so that price changes take effect automatically to align with your POS changes.

To schedule a price update, you will use the Scheduled Pricing option from the menu on the left under Restaurant -> Scheduled Pricing.

Specifying the Pricing Change Date

To load your menu for price updates, specify the date and time for the price change, select your location (if you have multiple locations), and choose whether you want to see disabled items. When you have selected these items click the "Load Items" button to load your menu with pricing for that date and time as defaults.

Updating Item and Option Pricing

Your menu will be loaded, sorted by category with each item's regular and special price listed and the ability to expand the options to schedule changes in the pricing for options for that item as well.

Update any items and options that will change pricing for your scheduled time. You can leave any items which have no pricing change blank.

Once you are complete with the full set of updates, click the "Save Scheduled Prices" at the top of the page to lock in your changes.

Reviewing Price Changes

Once saved, you'll have a full list of the updates visible for you. You can also view the scheduled updates for an item in the Menu Item edit screen:

This will also show any historic changes you have made since the scheduled price changes were enabled on the system, including changes that were made using the traditional menu item form.

You'll also be able to see that there are scheduled menu option price changes in the future when you look at the menu options from the menu edit screen:

To review any option pricing changes, you would return to the main scheduled pricing change grid. By choosing a scheduled time in the future, you will see the full list including scheduled changes which you can edit or delete from that screen.
